Below is an Itinerary to give you an idea of what the retreat will be like – subject to minor changes.

Day 1

On arrival at Windhoek International Airport, you will be met and the Journey to Etosha Village will begin. From Windhoek it is an 4 hour drive, the perfect time to get to know your fellow yogi’s and an introduction to what the week has in store for you while enjoying majestic landscapes and the unique environment of flora and fauna. After settling into your luxurious accommodation, we will meet for a restorative sunset yoga session followed by a welcoming ceremony and a mouth-watering dinner under the African stars.

Day 2

Starting the day with a beautiful sunrise yoga session that will awaken all your senses, making you feel reconnected with your soul. Enjoy a healthy breakfast before meeting with an experienced guide that will take you to Etosha National Park. It is home to hundreds of species of mammals,birds and reptiles, including several threatened and endangered species such as the black rhinoceros. Elephant, Lion, Leopard, Cheetah, Wildebeest, Giraffe, Hyena, Zebra, Springbok, Kudu, Gemsbok and Eland are common in the park which make game viewing in Etosha a unique experience. For lunch we will return to Etosha Village,  relax by one of the 3 swimming pools, read a book, go on a nature walk, birding or enjoy the beautiful surroundings from your own private patio. We will meet again for sunset yoga followed by silent meditation under the stars, ending the day with a healthy dinner.

Day 3

Waking up to another beautiful day in Africa!!  Sunrise yoga on our open-air yoga deck  practicing calmness and becoming one with nature. We will depart to Okutala Lodge after breakfast to spend some time with rehabilitated animals such as elephant, rhino, and giraffe. After a healthy lunch and swim you can relax while watching animals come and drink at the waterhole. Sunset we will meet for a yoga followed by a buffet dinner under the African sky.

Day 4

At sunrise we will depart to Etosha National park where we will also enjoy breakfast at one of the waterholes while watching the animals. Lunchtime we will be back at Etosha Village where you can relax before an early afternoon yoga session followed by sundowners, a bush dinner and star gazing.

Day 5

Today we will be heading to the picturesque coastal town of Swakopmund - where the ocean meets the desert.  On our way we will visit the ancient indigenous Himba group  - the sight of traditional Himba women has become an iconic image of Africa. We will continue via the skeleton coast and enjoy sunset yoga in Swakopmund with spectacular views of the Namib dunes followed by a german cuisine dinner.

Day 6

After yoga and a healthy breakfast you will surely be ready for a fun filled day in Swakopmund.  You can choose between a variety of adventurous excursions, from quad biking, fat wheel biking, ocean safaris, dune boarding, horse riding, camel riding, kayaking or surfing. If you would like to observe your surroundings from above, you could even try skydiving or a scenic flight. Go for a SPA treatment after lunch and explore this cute little german town. Sunset Yoga will be on the beach overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and the Namib Desert.

Day 7

We will make our way down south to Sossusvlei after sunrise yoga. Sossusvlei is undoubtedly Namibia's most iconic landscape, located in the Namib-Naukluft National Park. The Namib Desert is the oldest desert in the world and stretches over 1500km with dunes reaching heights of 300m. Sunset Yoga followed by a traditional Namibian Braai/BBQ under the stars - Namibia is considered to be one of the top 3 destinations for stargazing in the world.

Day 8

Early departure to Deadvlei - Deadvlei is a clay pan characterized by dark, dead camel thorn trees contrasted against the white pan floor. The pitch-black trees and bleached white pans paired with rusty-red dunes and blue skies makes this a paradise for photographers. After exploring, a healthy breakfast will be served at the foot of the dunes. Relax after lunch at the pool overlooking majestic landscapes, early evening yoga followed by dinner overlooking a  floodlit waterhole where you can watch oryx, springbok, jackal, ground squirrel and hyena, whilst enjoying exquisite food.

Day 9

Morning yoga, healthy breakfast and a visit to Sesriem Canyon. Surrounding ourselves with the healing energy of Namibia, we will have our last sunset yoga session, ending the night dining under the African sky.

Day 10

After Sunrise Yoga we will enjoy our last breakfast before heading back to Windhoek. Not only will it be a memorable drive back, but an unforgettable trip never to be forgotten...
