7-DAY WILDLIFE YOGA RETREAT
12 -18 December 2019
JOURNEY INTO THE INNER SELF
Join Austrian yoga teacher, Lisa Winter and retreat organiser, Marcel Vosloo this coming December for a retreat filled with daily yoga in nature and an abundance of wildlife. We will visit Okonjima, home of the Africat Foundation, Namibia’s Greatest Wildlife Park, ending it off with a luxury stay at a private Nature Reserve that offers Wellness facilities.
Lisa and Marcel handpicked 3 remarkable lodges boasting their own wildlife and professional guides, designing a week for people who not only loves yoga, nature and animals, but wanting to bring harmony into their lives, living a more conscious ,purposeful and loving life. Lisas classes will connect you to your inner self, teaching awareness and mindful movement through Hatha, Vinyasa and Restorative sessions, tailored to the personal needs of each guest. The retreat takes a maximum of 8 guests for the perfect group experience, welcoming beginners to advanced.
Each day is set to begin with a morning yoga practice out in nature as the world awakes around you. The remainder of the mornings, after breakfast, will be spent on an excursion specific to the area. On return from the activity, lunch will be served and then some time to relax and enjoy the “holiday” part of this adventure or head off for another guided activity as offered by the lodges.
As the days draw to a close, you will find yourself back in nature for an afternoon yoga practice, quieting your mind before dinner under the Namibian starlit skies.
Combining Lisas teachings in nature with the unique wildlife experiences, will be your first few steps towards living a more conscious and loving life.

It undertakes research, community support and environmental education projects, as well as conservation work to rehabilitate carnivores such as cheetah and hyaena.
OKONJIMA guarantees a unique African safari to remember.
