After settling into your accommodation, we’ll head out for a relaxed guided tour of Windhoek - an introduction to Namibia’s rich culture, colonial history, and vibrant local life. As the sun sets, we’ll gather for a welcoming dinner, sharing intentions for the journey ahead and enjoying nourishing cuisine to ground and energize you for the adventure to come.

    Accommodation: Kuiseb House

  • INTO THE DESERT – The Journey Begins

Day 2: Our adventure starts right away as we leave the city behind and head south toward the dramatic dunes of the Namib Desert.

Our scenic 5-hour journey takes us over the stunning Spreetshoogte Pass, where we pause to soak in sweeping views from 1800 meters above sea level. The landscape shifts constantly—craggy mountains, vast plains, towering dunes, and the occasional oryx or springbok. A stop in Solitaire offers a quirky roadside break and perhaps a bite of its legendary apple pie before we reach our desert lodge. Settle in, exhale, and let the silence of the desert embrace you. In the late afternoon, we’ll gather for a gentle yoga session to ground ourselves, followed by a nourishing dinner.

Day 3: Sand, Silence & Soulful Moments
We rise early to enter the gates of the Namib-Naukluft National Park at sunrise, beginning our journey into Namibia’s most iconic desert landscapes. First light turns the dunes into golden waves as we head deeper toward Deadvlei and Sossusvlei—home to some of the tallest sand dunes on Earth.

For those feeling adventurous, there’s the option to climb Big Daddy dune for a breathtaking view of the surreal, ancient pan below. There’s something humbling and powerful in sitting quietly at the top, with only the wind and your breath for company. After capturing this dreamlike place through your senses, we continue to Sesriem Canyon before returning to the lodge for an afternoon of relaxation. Cool off in the pool, lounge with a view, or opt for a sunset horseback ride across the desert. We'll close the day with a sunset yoga practice, tuning into the calm, timeless rhythm of the land.

    Accommodation: Desert Homestead

  • Day 4: We’ll begin the day with an early morning yoga session—awakening body and breath as the desert stretches out around us. After breakfast, we travel north toward the Skeleton Coast, where the golden dunes meet the cool Atlantic breeze.

Our next stop is Swakopmund, a charming coastal town with a relaxed vibe, lined with palm trees, ocean views, and colonial-era architecture. Whether you're drawn to adventure or craving a slower pace, Swakopmund offers a wide range of activities—from kayaking and sandboarding to simply strolling the shoreline or savoring a coffee in a seaside café.

Our home for the next two nights is Desert Breeze Lodge, an oasis of art, comfort, and stillness on the edge of the desert. With its colorful design and sweeping views over the dunes, it’s the perfect space to unwind. Breakfast is served at the lodge, while lunch and dinner will be enjoyed at one of Swakopmund’s vibrant restaurants. And for yoga? Think warm sand beneath your feet and ocean air in your lungs—whether on the beach or amidst the desert dunes, this practice promises to be unlike any other.

After a grounding morning yoga session, we journey north into the vast, untamed beauty of Damaraland—a region known for its ancient landscapes, sculpted rock formations, and wide-open silence that invites deep reflection. Along the way, we’ll stop at the haunting Zeila Shipwreck along the Skeleton Coast, then continue inland where the terrain shifts from windswept dunes to rugged wilderness. The drive itself is an experience—passing through small local villages, where life moves with the rhythm of the land, offering a glimpse into Namibia’s rich cultural tapestry.

Before reaching our lodge, we’ll visit the remarkable Bushman rock paintings, a sacred reminder of the region’s early inhabitants, and stop at the Damara Living Museum, where you'll experience traditional crafts, song, and stories passed down through generations. These moments of cultural connection bring depth and meaning to the journey.

By late afternoon, we arrive at our peaceful lodge, surrounded by Damaraland’s raw, majestic scenery. Unwind, reflect, and let the sun set slowly into the silence—an evening you'll carry with you long after you leave.

  • While most of our early mornings will be spent on exciting adventures—like game drives and cultural experiences—afternoon yoga sessions will provide the perfect opportunity to unwind and rejuvenate. The practice of yoga in these remote, stunning environments offers more than physical benefits—it creates a mindful, wellness-oriented way of experiencing the beauty of Namibia. The peace of the desert, the energy of the wildlife, and the rhythm of the land will enhance your practice, allowing you to feel centered and connected to the land and your inner self.

Our yoga sessions will offer a harmonious blend of yin, slow flows, vinyasa, and hatha-inspired practices, complemented by breathing techniques and guided meditations, designed to nurture both body and mind.

I love that I can lie in bed at night and hear lions, hippos, hyena, jackals etc, that is why I love being out in the bush. I love your Namibia, and hope to return again for another visit. The tented lodge was amazing, and I would love to go back, especially when the elephants were passing through, what a life experience that would be. Victoria Falls was both soul cleansing and heart opening for me. I was so drawn into the beauty and power it brought me to tears! Thanks again and keep me on your mailing list.
